Additional Narrative

Unit 1 operated WB on Aetna Rd and failed to obey the railroad crossing gates at the Norfolk & Southern rail crossing. As Unit 1 was driving across the track; Unit 2; a NB train which was repeatedly sounding a horn; struck the left side of Unit 1; which was thrown in a NW direction and overturned. The driver of Unit 1; Miracle S Thomas; was pronounced dead at University Hospital at 2218 hrs; 10/31/20 per Dr Donatelli. Train Engineer: Truman P Sleeth Train Conductor: Paul Harshbarger
