Additional Narrative

Unit 1 operated SB on E 55th in lane two. As Unit 1 crossed the E 55th and Luther Ave intersection with the green light; Unit 2 (pedestrian) walked across E 55th in a SW direction; not in a marked crosswalk; in front of oncoming Unit 1. Unit 1 attempted an evasive maneuver; turning to the left to avoid Unit 2. The right front corner of Unit 1 collided with Unit 2.
