BOTH UNITS WERE S/B ON EASTERN AVE. UNKNOWN UNIT 1 STRUCK THE REAR OF UNIT 2. RIDER OF UNIT 2 SUSTAINED LIFE THREATENING INJURIES AND WAS TRANSPORTED TO UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL BY FIRE PERSONNEL WHERE HE WAS LATER PRONOUNCED DECEASED.
