According to witnesses; Unit #1 was on Lake Ave NW; facing west bound; stopped at the red light at the intersection of Great Lakes BLVD (SR21); in the left turn lane. Witnesses then stated that Unit #1 then got the green arrow to turn south bound onto SR21; but just sat there. The witness proceeded west bound on Lake through the intersection. The witness stated that she looked into her rearview mirror and saw Unit #1 coming straight through the intersection at full speed into the tree. Unit #1 did drive head on into the tree. Nothing further at this time.
