UNIT #1 WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND IN THE AREA OF 2051 WESTWOOD NORTHERN BLVD WHEN SHE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE CAUSING HER TO CROSS OVER THE SMALL CONCRETE MEDIAN. DRIVER OF UNIT #1 THEN OVER CORRECTED THE VEHICLE CAUSING HER VEHICLE TO GO SIDEWAYS OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. UNIT #1 THEN STRUCK A TREE AT THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR. DRIVER WAS DECEASED AND PASSENGER WAS TRANSPORTED BY MEDIC UNITS FOR MINOR INJURIES.
