Unit #1 was south on 13 St crossing Florida Av. The witness was north on 13 St approaching Florida Av. According to the witness; unit #1 was operating a high rate of speed and did not stop at Florida Av. Unit #1 came south through the intersection and struck the curb on the southwest corner of the intersection with the right front wheel. Unit #1 struck the west side curb face again a short distance later. A small piece of the wheel was found on the west side sidewalk along 13 St. Unit #1 continued south on 13 St and went around a parked vehicle in front of 2284 13 St. Unit #1 lost control and started to slide passenger side first across the road to the east side of the street. Unit #1 slid passenger side first into a tree on the tree lawn in front of 2287 13 St. At some point after this impact; unit #1 started to rotate and flip; and struck the wood retaining wall belonging to 2297 13 St. Unit #1 continued to rotate and flip; striking another tree in front of 2297 13 St. Unit #1 came to rest on its drivers side; pointing southeast.
