This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Monday, November 23rd 2020 at approximately 2:32 pm. The driver of gray Chevrolet (2014) improper lane change. Injuries were reported. An officer from Dayton Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
On November 23; 2020 at approximately 1432 hours Unit #1 was traveling east bound on West Third Street in an unknown lane; at an unknown speed and when at/near the intersection of West Third Street and South Woodward Avenue failed to maintain resonable control and went to the left; crossing the center lane of travel; then going east bound in the west bound lanes of travel and in so doing collided with Unit #2; which was west bound in the first lane of travel from the north curb at an unknown speed. After colliding with Unit #2; Unit #1 came to final rest near the center of the roadway. Unit #2 went off of the roadway to the right and collided with an RTA pole that was located on the north side of the roadway; coming to final rest.
