Unit 2; along with one trailing unit; was stopped on the IR 480 WB & SR 237 SB interchange. Unit 2 was stopped partially on the left shoulder & lane 1 with a damaged left front tire; emergency flashers activated; and three reflective warning triangles behind the trailer. Unit 1 was SB on IR 71 in lane 1 and continued onto IR 480 WB & SR 237 SB. Unit 1 struck the right rear of Unit 2's trailer. The right front passenger of Unit 1 was ejected onto the roadway.
