Unit 1 was NB on IR 71 in the left lane. Unit 2 was NB on IR 71 in the right lane. Unit 1 changed into the right lane and struck the rear of Unit 2. Both Unit 1 and 2 went off the road to the right and scrapped against the guardrail face. Unit 2 overturned onto the left side and slid back into the right lane where it and its rider came to rest. Unit 1 overturned onto its right side and slid down the roadway along the guardrail. The operator of Unit 1 slid across the ground and struck the guardrail post before coming to final rest around a guardrail post and was deceased at the scene.
