Unit 3 traveled westbound on Rockside Rd. at a high rate of speed. Unit 3 disobeyed the traffic signal at Broadway Ave. and Rockside Rd. and continued at a high rate of speed until disobeying the traffic signal at the intersection of Rockside Rd. and Dunham Rd. Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Dunham Rd. Unit 2 was in the turning lane; stopped at the traffic signal traveling eastbound on Rockside Rd. While Unit 1 was traveling through the intersection Unit 3 s front end struck the driver side of Unit 1 pushing Unit 1 into Unit 2 crushing the passenger side of Unit 1 onto the front end of Unit 2. All vehicle sustained disabling damages. The operator of Unit 3 suffered a fatal injury at the scene.
