Unit 1 was traveling the wrong way on I 71; going northbound in the southbound lanes. The passenger in unit 2 stated unit 2 was traveling s/b on I 71 south of E Hudson St when unit 2 was struck head on by unit 1; which was traveling the wrong way on I 71 SB. The driver of unit 2 was pronounced deceased at scene by Columbus Fire Engine 1 8at 3:28am. The driver of unit 1 was pronounced deceased at the hospital at 6:01am. The passenger in unit 2 was treated at Grant Hospital for her injuries.
