Unit #1 was traveling W/B on E Livingston Ave from Simpson Dr. Unit #2 was traveling E/B on E Livingston Ave from S Hamilton Rd. The driver of Unit #1 was pronounced dead at Grant Hospital at 12:00am on 3/20/21 by Dr Spaulding. The driver of Unit #2 stated that he was traveling E/B on E Livingston Ave approaching Simpson Dr when Unit #1 hit him head on. The driver of Unit #2 stated that his vehicle began to spin and stopped in the middle of the road. The listed witness stated that Unit #1 and Unit #2 were behind her traveling W/B on E Livingston Ave and they were racing. The witness stated that they side swiped each other which caused them to crash. AIU was notifed and responded to the scene to complete the investigation.
