This accident, involving 1 vehicle occurred on Saturday, March 20th 2021 at approximately 2:48 am. The driver of blue; light Chevrolet (2008) drove off road. Injuries were reported. An officer from TOLEDO Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit 01 was traveling northbound on N. Fearing Blvd approaching Hill Ave. Unit 01 lost control of the vehicle and on the roadway there is evidence of yaw marks. Unit 01 then hit a light pole ramping up the grassy hill. Once going up the grassy small hill Unit 01 hit a fence rolled and came to a complete stop on its right side. The passengers inside the vehicle were all transported to UTMC. Miss Thomas broke her left femur. Mr. Jenkins and Mr. Sherman received minor injuries. The driver of Unit 01; Miss Rice had life-ending injuries. ON 3/24/2021 this officer had to change the vehicle model from Impala to a Malibu. This officer made the mistake of the vehicle being a Impala.
