This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Monday, March 22nd 2021 at approximately 8:29 pm. The driver of white Suzuki (2007) left of center. Injuries were reported. An officer from Columbus Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

The driver of Unit 2 stated she was southbound on Sinclair Rd North of Worthington Forest Pl. She stated she was beginning to slow down prior to making a turn into her driveway at 5516 Sinclair Rd. Unit 2 stated she slowed and was waiting for traffic to clear so she could make her turn. Unit 2 stated she saw unit 1 driving North on Sinclair Rd driving approximately the speed limit. She stated she saw unit 1 begin to "wobble" and lose control of the motorcycle. Unit 2 stated she saw unit 1 cross over the double yellow center line. Unit 2 stated unit 1 came into her lane and struck the front drivers side tire of unit 2. Unit 2 stated unit 1 then side swiped the drivers side of unit 2. Unit 2 stated she then pulled her vehicle into her driveway at 5516 Sinclair Rd. When officers arrived on scene they saw the driver of unit 1 had been ejected and was laying on the East side of Sinclair Rd. Unit 2 had minor damage to the drivers side of the vehicle including minor scrapes down the entire drivers side. Columbus Fire Medic 24 transported the driver of unit 1 to Riverside Hospital where he was pronounced deceased by emergency room staff at 20:59. The driver of unit 2 did not complain of any injuries.
