Unit 01 was EB on Grand Avenue at a high rate of speed when it failed to maintain control and was unable to negotatiate a right/SB oriented curve. The vehicle left the roadway and entered the grass where it skidded until returning to the road where it rolled. Upon rolling; the operator of the vehicle was ejected and received fatal injuries. The vehicle continued rolling until coming to rest on the SE corner of the intersection in front of 4780 Roosevelt blvd. The passenger received serious and possibly life threatening injuries.
